Church of Bishopric
Skopelos island, North Sporades, Greece

The church of Bishopric (Episkopi) is 10 minutes from Skopelos town and private. It is a basilica of the 17th century that is built upon an early Christian chapel, which in turn had been built upon an ancient temple.

The all Venetian building was intended to become the seat of the Bishop of Skopelos, but was not completed because of the raids by the pirate Barbarossa.
